Alex talks about his earlier life and how he came to live in Suffolk after working in Felixstowe for a year, having previously been based on the Isle of Wight.

Alex talks about people who have influenced and inspired him during his career – in particularly John Kenyon, a well-know trainer and coach, who taught him to be himself and to use his own personal style to succeed. Alex talks about being child-like and definitely not childish, he makes a point that energy, enthusiasm and passion is all mixed into this winning approach.

Alex also recounts the Gerald Ratner story, how he got to know him, and how influential he is a  successful business leader to him.

Alex talks about MENTA and range of support they can give new and existing businesses – and the broad range of business funding available for the next year.

Alex finishes his interview with a look ahead, despite his immediate prediction of a slightly unstable few months, business is healthy and growing in Suffolk.
